FAQ
What are extensions made of?
Lashes are available in a variety of materials including human hair, synthetic fiber, silk and mink. Extensions range from fine to very thick in diameter and from very short to very long. The bonding is specially formulated for human lashes.

How long do these lashes last?
When applied properly they last up to 2 months, depending on the natural growth cycle of your eyelashes and the expertise of the technician applying the eyelash extensions. Our bonding agent is specially formulated with a unique waterproof bonding agent to last.
If you get fills monthly you can have your lashes for months or years.

How often should touch ups be done?
We recommend getting a touch up every two to four weeks. A natural eyelash falls off every 40 days on average due to the natural growth cycle and is naturally replaced with the growth of a new eyelash. At any given moment, each of your natural eyelashes is at a different stage of its life cycle. A touch up is needed to replenish the lashes that have completed their life cycle.

Can mascara be applied on extensions?
Mascara is not needed with extensions. However, if the client must have the mascara look, only extension mascara can be used on the tips after the clear coating sealer. Waterproof mascara along with any type of oil based mascara will dissolve the bonding agent and cause the extensions to fall off. Waterproof also leaves a residue and makes fills/touch ups impossible.

How long does it take?
Your eyes are closed the entire time and it is not uncommon to fall asleep. It takes up to two hours depending on your desired look.

Can I remove the eyelash extensions?
Yes, You can remove them any time for any reason. The procedure takes about 20 minutes.

How do I prepare for my lash appointment?
Use a mild, oil free cleanser to thoroughly remove your eye makeup before your appointment. Contact lenses should also be removed before your relaxing procedure.

Minimal Care is required to maintain your lashes
  • Do not use oily products, mascara remover, lash curlers, lash perms, or waterproof mascara on your lashes.
  • Natural shin oils, rubbing, scratching and pulling lashes will shorten the life of your extensions.
  • Your natrual lashes have an approximate 100 day life span. When one falls it is replaced with the growth of a new eyelash. A re-lash is recommended to replace ant lose extensions due to your natural life cycle.

With almost everything applied to the body there is always risk of allergy. The fact that the lashes are applied to the eyelashes not the skin makes reactions extremely rare. An allergic reaction would require removal of the extensions.
